Her Dark Twisted Fantasy

As Karl Lagerfeld once said; ‘Fashion is ephemeral, dangerous and unfair.’
Whilst people long to work in the exciting and hectic areas of the fashion industry, it is true that there is a darker side to fashion. Many people are against the industry for reasons such as the size-zero debate, sexism and the sexualisation of underage models. Our film reflects this in a sense – a somewhat secret, hidden message. Being childlike and fairytale-like, our film represents a young model who starts out innocent but soon enough becomes corrupted by the fashion industry. We’re portraying this as metaphorically being sucked into a nightmare.

So here it is guys, our FINISHED fashion film!

Chic Dressing In a Shabby Economy

As the Spanish economy shrinks back into recession, my recent trip to Barcelona showed my that fashion still remains at large. In particular, I became infatuated with it's high street stores!

Barcelona is all about Zaras and Mangos. They literally swarm every single street in the city centre! Whilst depressingly unimpressed with Mango over there, Zara absolutely blew my mind. I know we have Zara's in the UK too, but being a Spanish brand I had high hopes! It's not too expensive, and I literally could have bought every single item in the shop if only my poor student finances would allow me. I did go a little crazy though, and blew my entire holiday budget in this one Zara store.

I want Green shoes!

'Fathers and daughters are something else,' says billionaire Topshop boss, Sir Philip Green. 'They're our Achilles heel.'

It seems his daughter, Made In Chelsea star Chloe Green, also finds heels an important part of her life as she is launching her own shoe line in May.
