FAME

This is it. With celebrities such as Britney and SJP bringing out new fragrances all the time, it was only a matter of days before the Fame Monster herself, Lady Gaga, was to jump on the bandwagon with her first ever fragrance - FAME.

Working with The Haus Laboratories Paris and Coty, they came up with a unique way to really make this perfume stand out. Never seen before, the perfume is actually a black liquid though becomes invisible when in contact with skin. In Lady Gaga's own words, the black liquid represents the idea of fame, "It's black like the soul of fame, but invisible once airborn."

The scent is an infusion of apricots, saffron, honey, belladonna and incence - NOT blood and semen according to those ridiculous rumours. Nick Knight designed the bottle which is an egg shape (notice the link with that infamous entrance to the 2011 Grammy's) with a gold monster claw.

Black soap, body wash and lotion will be available to purchase after the perfumes launch in September.

I don't know about you but the prospect of this most talked about perfume really excites me and I can't wait to witness these new cosmetic technological advances in action!

Though we still have over a month left until the perfume is released, we've been left with multiple teaser trailers to keep us in the hype - including a glimpse at the official ad campaign shot by Steven Klein!

Enjoy! Jess xx

Do you not think the bottle looks loads like the Alien one? I can't wait to smell it though, it sounds like it will smell unbelievable- and the little films are great merchandising tactics!
P.s. Love your blog! xo
