As Karl Lagerfeld
once said; ‘Fashion is ephemeral, dangerous and unfair.’
Whilst people long
to work in the exciting and hectic areas of the fashion industry, it is true
that there is a darker side to fashion. Many people are against the industry
for reasons such as the size-zero debate, sexism and the sexualisation of
underage models. Our film reflects this in a sense – a somewhat secret, hidden
message. Being childlike and fairytale-like, our film represents a young model
who starts out innocent but soon enough becomes corrupted by the fashion
industry. We’re portraying this as metaphorically being sucked into a
nightmare.
So here it is guys, our FINISHED fashion film!
